Who actually contacts the contractors?
Our assistant does the legwork: it finds well-reviewed local companies for your kind of job and sends your request in your name, by email or through the contact form on their website. You confirm your email first, so nothing goes out without your OK, and we keep an eye on every job.
Will my phone start ringing?
No. Companies reply by email, and we forward their replies to you. Your phone number is optional, and companies only get it if you tick the box that allows it.
How many companies will you contact?
Usually 8 to 10 companies that serve your area and do your kind of work. Sending a request to dozens of companies tends to get fewer, lower-effort replies, so we keep it focused.
What areas do you cover?
We're starting in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. If you're somewhere else in Canada, send your request anyway and we'll tell you honestly if we can't help.
What does it cost?
Nothing while we're in early access. When paid plans start, you'll pay once per project, and if fewer than 3 written quotes come back, you'll get your money back.
Do I have to hire anyone?
Not at all. The quotes are yours to compare. You choose who to talk to next, or no one.
